How to Request a New Organization #

Organizations in PrayerConnect represent real-world groups — churches, ministries, small groups, prayer circles — that share and manage prayer requests together. If your church or group isn’t already on PrayerConnect, you can request that one be created for you.

Who Can Request an Organization? #

Any registered PrayerConnect user can submit a request to create a new organization. You do not need any special permissions — simply log in and follow the steps below.

Step-by-Step: Submitting a Request #

1. Log in to your PrayerConnect account. If you don’t have one yet, create your account first.
2. Open the menu and click Request Organization in the navigation bar.
3. Fill out the form with the following details:
   • Organization Name — The full name of your church, ministry, or group.
   • Description — A brief summary of your organization and its purpose. This helps our team review your request and is shown publicly if your organization is listed in the directory.
   • Website (optional) — Your organization’s website, if you have one.
4. Review your details and click Submit Request.
5. You’ll see a confirmation message that your request has been received.

What Happens Next? #

After you submit your request, it goes through a brief review process by the PrayerConnect team. Here’s what to expect:

• You will receive an email notification once a decision has been made.
• Most requests are reviewed within 1–2 business days.

If Your Request Is Approved #

When your organization request is approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and gain full administrator access to your new organization. As the organization owner, you can:

• Invite members — Send email invitations so others can join your organization.
• Customize your theme — Set your organization’s colors, fonts, branding, and layout for the Prayer Display.
• Manage prayer tags — Create category tags (e.g., “Healing,” “Gratitude,” “Family”) so members can categorize their prayer requests.
• View reports — Access your organization’s engagement metrics, prayer statistics, and member activity dashboard.
• Create sub-organizations — Set up child groups (e.g., “Youth Ministry,” “Women’s Prayer Circle”) under your main organization.

Your account will also be upgraded to a paid account tier, which unlocks organization management features.

If Your Request Is Not Approved #

If your request is not approved, you’ll receive an email explaining why, along with any feedback from the review team. Common reasons for a request not being approved include:

• A duplicate organization already exists for the same church or group.
• The description provided was unclear or incomplete.
• The request did not appear to represent a legitimate prayer community.

You are welcome to resubmit a new request after addressing the feedback. There is no limit on how many times you can request an organization.
