The Prayer Wall

Browsing Shared Prayers on the Prayer Wall #

The Prayer Wall is a community prayer board where you can browse shared prayers from all the organizations you belong to. It’s a great way to discover prayer needs in your community and offer support.

Accessing the Prayer Wall #

Click “Prayer Wall” from the Menu dropdown in the navigation bar. You must be logged in to access the Prayer Wall.

What You’ll See #

The Prayer Wall shows prayer cards from other members in a grid layout:

  • 3 cards per row on desktop screens
  • 2 cards per row on medium screens
  • 1 card per row on mobile devices

Each card displays:

  • The author’s name
  • The date the prayer was submitted
  • A preview of the prayer request (first 150 characters)
  • URGENT badge for emergency prayers
  • SHARED badge for shared prayers
  • A “Support with Prayer” button with a view count showing how many people have prayed

Filtering and Sorting #

Use the filter bar at the top of the Prayer Wall to customize your view:

  • Sort by: Choose between “Newest First” (default) or “Oldest First”
  • Organization: Filter by “All Organizations” (default) or select a specific organization to see only prayers from that group

Filters apply automatically when you change them — no need to click a button.

Which Prayers Appear #

The Prayer Wall only shows prayers that meet all of these criteria:

  • The prayer is active (status = processed and approved)
  • The prayer is shared (the author chose to share it with the community)
  • The prayer belongs to at least one organization that you are a member of

Supporting Others in Prayer #

Click on any prayer card or the “Support with Prayer” button to open the full prayer on the View Prayer page. By visiting the prayer, your view is counted — letting the author know that someone has seen and prayed for their request.

Pagination #

The Prayer Wall shows 12 prayers per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to browse through more prayers.
